Ingredients
  

Fruit Mixture
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 4 large peaches peeled and sliced
  • 4 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 4 cups seedless green grapes
Dressing and Garnish
  • 4 cups canned cherry pie filling
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar optional
  • fresh mint leaves for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse all berries under cool water and pat dry.
  2. Hull and slice strawberries into thin slices.
  3. Peel peaches using the boiling water method and slice into wedges.
  4. Cut pineapple into 1-inch chunks.
  5. Wash grapes, remove from stems, and halve if large.
  6. Combine all prepared fruits in a large bowl and toss gently.
  7. Drizzle with lemon juice and toss to coat.
  8. Add sugar if desired and toss lightly.
  9. Fold in the cherry pie filling using a spatula.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  11. Stir before serving and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The fruit may release liquid, so stir before serving. Not suitable for freezing.
