Baking
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Cream together brown sugar and butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in rolled oats and raisins.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Glazing
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth.
- Lift bars out of the pan using parchment overhang and drizzle glaze over the top.
- Cut into 12 bars once the glaze has set.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer storage, wrap individually and freeze for up to 3 months.
