Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups heavy cream chilled
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 cups pound cake or angel food cake cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup for drizzling
  • fresh mint leaves optional garnish

Method
 

Assembly
  1. Whip the cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  2. Gently fold the vanilla Greek yogurt into the whipped cream until smooth.
  3. Mash half of the strawberries in a small bowl with a fork.
  4. Place half of the cake cubes in the bottom of a trifle bowl and drizzle with half of the honey.
  5. Spread the mashed strawberries over the cake layer, followed by half of the cream-yogurt mixture.
  6. Scatter half of the remaining sliced berries over the cream layer.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, honey, cream mixture, and berries.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh mint leaves just before serving.

Notes

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld. Best consumed within 2 days.
