Dough Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 300g
  • 1 cup warm milk 110°F
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast 7g
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Garlic Butter Topping
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine warm milk and sugar in a bowl, sprinkle yeast on top, and let sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Whisk flour and salt in a large bowl, then stir in the yeast mixture and melted butter until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough, divide into 8 equal pieces, and shape into smooth balls.
  6. Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F and bake rolls for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic and cook for 1 minute, then stir in parsley and salt.
  9. Brush the hot rolls with the prepared garlic butter immediately and serve.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
