Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter and dark brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth, light, and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until the mixture is glossy.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough into 1.5-inch balls and coat each ball evenly in granulated sugar.
