Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Beat the softened butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.
- Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the butter and beat until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Gently fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips with a spatula.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use room-temperature butter for even creaming. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading.
